The Parrillo Family

Thanks to our friends Meg and Rob, our little Sadie is snuggling up with a new personalized blanket all day long.  With these 90 degree temps in Elmhurst, we've had the air conditioning going full blast, so she needs the cover to keep her warm. Thanks for the thoughtful gift, Meg & Rob!

Our little Sadiebird had plenty of visitors come by to greet her in our home over the past few days.  Everyone from "Auntie" Christine to cousins Sophie, Anna, Grant, and Izzy - it has been a whirlwind week here at the Parrillo homestead - and we even managed to squeeze in a bath.  Eloise, of course, loved spending time getting to know her baby sister. Look who is opening her eyes up for daddy?

Eloise couldn't wait to get to the hospital to meet her baby sister.  After 10 months of talking about her in mommy's belly, little Eloise wanted to get an up-close view of her new bestie. She's *already* such a great big sister.  She loves holding baby Sadie and rocking her gently in her bassinet. Sarah Dianne - Sadie - was brought into this world on Sunday, June 10th, 2012 at 9:38 am.  She weighed 7.7 ounces and was 21" long.  She arrived with a big head of dark hair - which came as a surprise to all involved!
