The Parrillo Family

We had both girls in Winter Swim Lessons and it may be the most enjoyable activity both Sadie and Ellie do together! Yesterday was the first time I'd been able to make the lesson and I saw a ton of progress.  Sadie absolutely LOVES being in the pool.  Nat has to hold onto the back of her suit when it isn't 'her turn' because otherwise, she's just jump right in the water. Eloise is showing so much bravery and courage!  She's jumping into the pool, swimming under water, and even perfecting her back float. This morning, Nat and I took both girls to 'participate in the process' and vote for one of our good friends in his race for Illinois State Treasurer.  (Shhhsh....Nat may have even pulled a ballot for the 'good guys'.  She's not proud of it, but she had to support our friend!) I've posted before with photos of the girls at election day. It seems that the last time they were with us was back in 2012 for the Presidential election in November.   Here's a post with photos of both girls.  That was SD's first time . Here's a photo of Ellie back in 2010 when she voted for the 2nd time. And here's the first time Ellie came to the polling place back in 2010 when she was just a month old . Today, we voted on the way to school (actually...our polling place *was* at Ellie's school, so that was convenient!).

We posted the photos from our 2014 visit to Disney World earlier but I wanted to share the videos from the trip here. We were lucky enough to head back to Orlando to visit Disney World at the tail end of February. We went last year, just as a family of four ( you can see the photos/post here for our 2013 trip ), but this time, we traveled with a much larger crew.  Like we did in 2012, we took this trip with most of the Parrillo family as well as the Marini Family. This time was a trip of a lifetime!  With both girls really in the Disney 'sweet spot', and lots of their cousins in tow, we all had an enjoyable - and busy! - five days with the Mouse.
