Little Rocky Parrillo

Jake and I were a little concerned about how we were going to get Eloise to the top of the "Rocky" steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We had a camera bag, an umbrella stroller, my bag and her diaper bag. From the bottom, the stairs appear daunting and it was a HOT and humid day. I carried her to the steps and put her down for a moment. She saw an opportunity and took it. I was able to get some of it on video. Please excuse my terrible video editing skills. Also, if you can't see the video in your email, please click through to the site.

Love in Philly

We took a trip to Philadelphia last week so that Jake could attend the NABJ conference and we could be tourists. We visited the famous LOVE statue, Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Efreth's Alley, Benjamin Franklin's tomb, Rodin's Thinker, the Free Library, the "Rocky" steps outside of the Museum of Art, Rittenhouse Square, Franklin Square (where E rode the carousel)... phew, is that it? We got around! I'm tired just thinking about it. I also came to the sad realization while in Philly that most of my knowledge comes from Trading Places and the opener to Ashley Hebert's Bachelorette season. Here are our favorite photos from the trip. (If you are reading this in your email and can't see the images below, click here to go view them on the website .)
