We spent a glorious week in San Diego celebrating Uncle Peter and Aunt Molly as they got married at sunset overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  Thanks to Grammy and Granddad, the full Moran family gathered at a house (with a pool!) overlooking the cliffs and the ocean. The last time we were in San Diego was on a family vacation in 2014 .  Here's the post showing the photos from that trip .  Here's a look at some of the highlights of the week together:

La Jolla Beach - Great Grampy And Grandkids

Look who made it down to the beach in La Jolla?  Great Grampy spent some time (in the shade) on the sand with five of his great grandchildren.  We were in town for Uncle Peter's wedding - that is taking place in a few days.

Disneyland In Summer - July 2019

Our second trip this calendar year to Disneyland included many of our favorites including Mickey Bars outside of the Haunted Mansion, a ride on It's A Small World After All, a new light saber for the Beef, and a stop outside of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.   We were able to sneak this trip in between all the activities of Uncle Peter's wedding down in San Diego.  We're grateful for the opportunity to spend the day in the parks with the kids. This is our sixth visit to Disneyland over the years here on the blog. We visited on the way to Aulani in early 2019 . We visited Disneyland in Winter 2016 for a few days and fell in love with the parks .   We visited on a hot, sunny day in August of 2014 when Nat was pregnant with Frankie . We took a Fall visit in 2013 when Sadie was just two .   Our first visit was the Fall of 2011 when Eloise was the only one around .  We went with the full Moran clan and our view on the parks were changed forever....

A Visit To Batuu at Galaxy's Edge @ Disneyland

We visited a galaxy far, far away at Disneyland and took in the land of Batuu.  It is pretty incredible.  We went with the Foxes and Granddad and the kids promptly flew the Millenium Falcon right into the ground.  Blue milk was had by all, but not a stop into the Cantina due to the crowds.  Was a treat to experience this place as a family and with Granddad - a big Star Wars fan! Our family history with Star Wars at Disney parks goes back to this post from 2016 when the girls dressed up like Rey at Hollywood Studios .

Eloise and Sadie In Annie Junior Performance

Sadie was cast as the youngest orphan named Molly and brought the house down with her line about the Empire State Building.  Eloise made the whole thing run smoothly in the stage crew.   This was the first time the girls participated in a performance of this type and it seems they've caught the acting bug.   We were lucky to have family and friends join the girls in catching the performance(s).
