Sadie just flat out adores Eloise. She looks up to her and is so interested in everything that Eloise does. Sadie cries and complains every time that we tell her that she's too small or too young to do *something* that Ellie gets to do. Right now Eloise is bigger, stronger, faster and more active that Sadie. But you know what? Even though she's 2+ years behind her, often times Sadie shows more courage in some situations that Ellie. She's more willing to try things and to 'be brave' as Nat puts it. Case in point: animals. When a situation comes up where the kids get to interact with animals, Ellie hangs back and gets the lay of the land first before engaging, but Sadie charges right in there and gets involved.
