Ellie Does The Monkey Bars

Eloise has learned quite a bit during her year in full-day Kindergarten, but one of her little, secret talents that she's picked up is her ability to traverse the Monkey Bars!  SD isn't the only one who is brave in our family !  We went over to the playground at her school this weekend and she decided to show off: (If you are reading this in your email and you can't see the video below, click here to watch it.)

The Girls' New "Standing Swing"

Summer is moving way too fast.  Between travel and work, I've hardly had time to waste away with the girls in our own backyard.  But...The playground in our backyard recently got an upgrade!  Eloise asked for a 'standing swing' and fortunately Menards had one in stock!  Both Ellie and Sadie are getting up on it and loving the new swing!

Swinging - All By Herself

This video is from back a few weeks ago (Easter Egg Hunt @ Wilder Park), but it shows what a big girl Eloise is becoming.  Last year, we would strap her into the infant swings at various parks and she would just kind of lean one way or the other.  Now, she's strong enough - and aware enough - to be grabbing the chains and (the best part!) even lays a HUGE smile on us.
