Sadie and the Easter Duck 2014

We've had this Easter-themed Donald Duck for a few Easter seasons in our house.  We bring it out every Spring.  Sadie is *just* the right age it seems as she was fascinated by him and played with him at every chance. Check out the video below to see her interact with him.   (If you are reading this in your email and can't see the video below, click here to head to the site and watch the video .)

Egg Dying, Easter and the Easter Egg Hunts (2014)

Easter this year seemed like it came and went really fast.  We kicked off the festivities with an Easter Egg dying earlier this week, then transitioned to the annual Egg Hunt on Saturday in town where both girls came up with baskets FULL of eggs.   Just like last year ....They both really wanted to wear their bunny ears all day, too!  ( check out last year's post to see both girls in their ears to see how much they've grown in just one year!) On Easter, we woke up and the girls scrambled around the house trying to find out where their baskets were hidden.  After church, we hosted my family (minus a few who were on vacation in NYC!) for brunch and another 'hunt' with most of Eloise and Sadie's cousins.  After everyone left and a short nap (for me AND SD), we went to the Morans for even more ham and potato salad...and family. Ellie is Elmhurst Famous

My sister Vic spotted our little Eloise on the Elmhurst Park District's website this morning.  Click on the photo to see a bigger version.  This could have been on the site for weeks/months.  We have no idea! We *think* that's from the time last fall where she took part in an 'Adventurer's Camp', but we're not sure.  Because Ellie isn't telling!
